Who I Am

My name is Tracie Montgomery, and I am the qualified saddle fitter for Custom Saddlery serving Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.  Our belief at Custom Saddlery is that every saddle should fit.

What I Do

With my fully-equipped van, I am able to offer you many different models to try, so you can achieve the best fit possible for you and your horse.  I am able to work on many different brands of saddles in addition to Custom Saddlery brand saddles.  

I can come to you in the comfort of your own facility, or we can arrange to meet at a show or clinic that coordinates with our schedules.  Please check my calendar located on the schedule page.

You may want to arrange a 1/2 hour lesson around my visit with your trainer to get his/her input.
